Acceptance of Terms
By accessing alliedbb.com or engaging Allied Bail Bonds for bail bond services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable California laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this website or our services. These terms apply to all visitors, clients, co-signers, and anyone who interacts with Allied Bail Bonds in any capacity.
Bail Bond Services
Allied Bail Bonds is a licensed bail bond agency regulated by the California Department of Insurance. We provide surety bail bonds as permitted under California law (Penal Code sections 1268 through 1320.5 and Insurance Code sections 1800 through 1866.1).
Our services include:
- Executing bail bond agreements to secure the release of defendants from custody
- Filing bonds with courts and jails throughout Northern California
- Monitoring compliance with court appearance requirements
- Assisting co-signers in understanding their obligations under bail bond agreements
Allied Bail Bonds does not provide legal advice. Nothing on this website or communicated by our agents constitutes legal advice. Clients should consult a licensed California attorney for legal guidance.
Payment Terms
The bail bond premium is set by California law at 10% of the total bail amount. This premium is earned upon posting the bond and is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the criminal case, including dismissal, acquittal, or reduction of charges.
Clients who enter payment plans agree to the specific payment schedule documented in the bail bond agreement. Failure to make scheduled payments may result in:
- Collection action for the outstanding balance
- Reporting to credit agencies as permitted by law
- Civil action to recover the unpaid premium
Co-signers are jointly and severally liable for the full bail amount in the event the defendant fails to appear in court and the bond is forfeited.
Indemnification
As a co-signer on a bail bond, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Allied Bail Bonds and its surety company from any loss, cost, damage, or expense, including attorney fees, arising from the defendant's failure to appear in court or any violation of the conditions of the bail bond. This includes the full forfeited bail amount plus any recovery costs incurred in locating and surrendering the defendant.
You agree to assist Allied Bail Bonds in locating the defendant if they fail to appear, to provide accurate contact information, and to notify us immediately if you have reason to believe the defendant intends to miss a court date or leave the state.
Limitation of Liability
Allied Bail Bonds is not responsible for delays in release caused by the jail's booking and processing procedures, court schedules, or factors outside our control. Release times vary by facility and cannot be guaranteed.
To the maximum extent permitted by California law, Allied Bail Bonds shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability to any client or co-signer shall not exceed the bail bond premium paid.
